Prepare to Hike   link has been added to the links menu.   Scouts and Adults should consider using this simple workout to prepare for hikes and make them more enjoyable.  You’ll have a better outing if your body’s not aching.   Minimal supplies are needed.   If you don't have weights, use filled milk or water jugs or food cans depending on your skill level. If you don't have a resistance band, cut one or more elastic bands from old underwear or sweats, tie knotts in it to increase resistance.  Step up onto the couch, kitchen chair, or solid kitchen step stool with mom's permission of course.
